Job Description

We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.


- Develop new user-facing features

- Build reusable code and libraries for future use

- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end

- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Skills And Qualifications

- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3

- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS

- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery

Note: Every front-end developer is expected to have a proficient knowledge of JavaScript, while most front-end developers should know jQuery.

- Good understanding of {{Depending on the specific case, a developer should have the knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS etc.}}

- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX

- Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.

Note: A UI/UX designer is expected to deliver finished resources for the developer to incorporate into the app. However, quite often a front-end web developer needs to make some small adjustments.

In the role of digital marketer, you'll be involved in developing an organisation's multi-channel communication strategies and may work across several areas, or specialise in a few, depending on the size and requirements of your employer.

Types of digital marketing

Commonly used digital marketing techniques include:

  • social media marketing - developing a distinct online presence by attracting high numbers of internet followers through social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.

  • search engine optimisation (SEO) - developing strategies to increase the number of visitors to a website by achieving high-ranking placements in search results.

  • pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns - sponsored online advertising paid for by the business to appear alongside non-paid search results.

  • mobile marketing - includes app-based, in-game, location-based and SMS marketing.

  • affiliate marketing - where a business allows other businesses (affiliates) to sell products on their website. The affiliate is paid commission for each customer brought to the website by their own marketing strategies.


As a digital marketer, you'll need to:

  • create and upload copy and images for the organisation's website

  • write and dispatch email marketing campaigns

  • provide accurate reports and analysis to clients and company management to demonstrate effective return on investment (ROI)

  • research new online media opportunities that may benefit the business including mobile, social media, development of blogs and forums

  • design website banners and assist with web visuals

  • communicate with clients, affiliate networks and affiliate partners

  • conduct keyword research and web statistics reporting

  • contribute to social media engagement and brand awareness campaigns

  • use web analytics software to monitor the performance of client websites and make recommendations for improvement

  • contribute to company and industry blogs and manage e-communications

  • assist with paid media, including liaising with digital advertising agencies

  • develop and integrate content marketing strategies

  • keep up to date with current digital trends

  • manage the contact database and assist with lead generation activities

  • negotiate with media suppliers to achieve the best price for clients.

What We Are Looking For

A talented Databases & Systems Administrator to join our tech team as we rapidly grow our platforms and constantly expand to international markets. The right candidate should have a solid technical & hands-on background, “get-things-done” mentality and eager to grow into a very organized firm.

Our Constantly Growing Infrastructure Consists Of

  • 4 x Google Cloud instances / 10 x Bare Metal Xeon servers / 300 x Virtual machines

  • Linux distributions, High performance databases , big production databases ~300GB each

  • DB load balancing , Read Replicas management with load balancing and replication procedures, mainly MySQL and MariaDB.

  • Open VPN internal servers , Git repositories , Terabytes of Storage archives , user management

Job Description and Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all setup, configuration and maintenance-level database administrative functions including but not limited to patch installation and capacity management.

  • Monitor and optimize relational database performance, security and redundancy.

  • Work closely with our Lead Software Engineer who is leading our technology team to Analyze and resolve database user incidents- needs.

  • Manage database user account creation, access and permissions

  • Perform operations in a way that the impact on database downtime is minimized following company’s and customers’ standard procedures

  • Ensure all change management procedures are followed

  • Perform and monitor backup/restore procedures

  • Work closely with our in-house IT admin responsible for the configuration of in-house and remote terminals connecting to the DBs and systems you are responsible for.

  • Perform workshops with the company’s board to set the vision on our infrastracture and request resources and upgrades.

  • Monitor scheduled jobs, synchronization processes.

  • Have ready to deploy redundancy scenarios for any day of week and time, so that our technology team is always able to develop and deliver our services regardless of the disaster scenario cases you are resolving backend.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field

  • Minimum 3+ years of professional experience managing production relational databases (MySQL, SQL, MariaDB)

  • Robust experience with Linux distributions (CentOS prefered), setting up, configuring and monitoring performance, networking, user account management, networking, hardware setup and troubleshooting, security & firewalls.

  • Professional experience with high performance replication , read-write load balancing, managing users-access-permissions

  • Experience with database tuning, backup and recovery

  • Experience with version control (Git)

  • Energy, initiative, and a positive attitude

  • Ability to apply analytical skills related to problem resolution and keen attention to detail

  • Flexible to work night/weekend for maintenance or disaster scenarios if and when it is required.
